Occurrence
A groundcover of local grassland & eucalypt woodlands growing on a range of soils, but chiefly gravelly areas.
Needs good drainage, so suits rock gardens, baskets, & tubs. Prefers full sun. Tolerates part-shade & dryness. Prune by 2/3, late autumn, to keep compact shape and to remove spent flower heads.
Appearance
A perennial herb ~0.5m tall. Spreading, horizontal stems turn upwards as they get longer. Yellow, daisy ‘button’ flowers occur spring-autumn.
Attractive, bright flowers. Butterflies, bees and other insects visit flowers for nectar/pollen.
