Occurrence
A groundcover of local grassland & eucalypt woodlands growing on a range of soils, but chiefly gravelly areas.
Prefers drier soils, so suits rock gardens. Often grows prostrate/sprawling. Prefers full sun/dappled shade.
Appearance
A perennial, straggly shrub 0.5-1m tall, with stems and narrow leaves rough to touch. Yellow, daisy flowers can occur throughout the year, but mostly midyear.
Not invasive, unlike the weed, ‘Singapore daisy’. Attractive, yellow flowers are visited by butterflies.
Don’t confuse this plant with ‘Singapore Daisy’, a declared Class 3 pest plant.
